Back in 1982 two young businessmen identified the importance in technically developing flour and sugar packaging in ready-made, paper bags. Their mission was to develop and build automatic machinery that could offer an excellent ratio between quality & price while at the same time ensuring equipment that could be integrated into any overall factory system, taking up the minimum of space and requiring minimum maintenance. More than thirty years later Italpack is considered the worldwide leading company for automatic packing machines for ready-made, paper bags boasting thousands of customers worldwide.
Thanks to the extreme flexibility of ITALPACK’s packing equipment most kinds of products can be packed. The efficient volumetric auger dosing systems allow handling of food products such as wheat flour, maize flour, semolina as well as non-food products like plaster, premix products, and cement.

The ITALPACK collators – shrink tunnels are the perfect answer to end-of-line production. Designed and built to bundle the single bags arriving from the packers, wrapping them with shrink film, thus creating a multi-pack tailored to the customer’s requirements. All movements have been studied in order not to alter the filled bag and the product itself, also during the process of “shrink wrapping”. The ITALPACK collators – shrink tunnels are made up of an automatic bundle formation unit, a shrink tunnel, and a bundle cooling device before the finished bundle is released onto the outfeed roller. All operating functions are controlled via a PLC system, fully programmable depending on the customer’s requirements.
